 OM Ships International is a well established and growing ministry of Operation Mobilisation, with two ocean going vessels, 800+ personnel and offices in several countries. One of the ships, the LOGOS II has recently been replaced with a larger purpose built vessel and the other ship, DOULOS, will be replaced in the coming years.
1. Job Title: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Location: Mosbach, Germany/ Carlisle, England
Description: In addition to high levels of technical competence and financial experience in an international organization the CFO will have previous experience working within a multi-national entity operating with the top level management team. Excellent communication skills are required to apply influence within a complex fast moving environment focused on ministry.
Qualifications: Qualified and experienced Accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent).
2. Job Title: MANAGEMENT ACCONTANT
Location: Mosbach, Germany/ Carlisle, England
Description:
- Preparation of management accounts
- Reviewing and analyzing financial data
- Preparing ad hoc analysis
- Preparation of financial projections and budgets
- Financial modeling to support strategic planning
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent)
- Good working knowledge of Accounting Software and Excel
- 5-10 years experience in a similar role
3. Job Title: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Location: Mosbach, Germany/ Carlisle, England
Description:
The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities:
- Providing timely and accurate maintenance of the General Ledger
- Preparing and booking of journal entries
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Assisting the Management Accountant in preparing regular financial statements
- Ensuring effective working capital and foreign exchange management
- Cash-flow forecasting
- Coach and mentor financial accountants
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent)
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a small team
- Good computer skills, especially Excel and accounting software
4. Job Title: ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Description: Acting as a key member of the finance team, you will be...
- Entering financial data
- Working with banking software to make international electronic payments
- Assisting the Financial Accountant
Qualifications:
- CAT qualifications or equivalent preferred but not essential
- Experience in a similar role
- Good computer skills, especially Excel
