More and more families raise their childeren abroad. Business people, military personnel, diplomats, missionaries: we live in a highly mobile world.

Such childeren grow up with devided loyalties: an allegiance to their parents' culture, but with friends and outlook far closer to the host culture. They are TCKs - Third Culture Kids. You know you are a TCK when you want to throw a party and your friends live on three different continents.

Marion Knell has traveled and worked with families overseas, especially in the Arab World. She works as a Family CrossCultural Consultant both with business, humanitarian, and Christian companies by preparing both adults and children for international assignments and debriefing them upon their return. Marion and her husband, Bryan, live in the UK and have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
